More for your Money!!!!

I love it when new cell phones, appliances, and gadgets come out. People rush to be the first to buy them at the highest prices possible then a month later they go on sale. I prefer to call them lab rats or guinea pigs simply because those people are going to be the determining factor if something is worth me buying. I'm a real fan of bargain shopping because I'm not rich so I have to be smart about getting more for my money. I just can't see myself waiting in line for hours just to be the first person to make a purchase of something at the most expensive price when it will be on sale later on. I know that buying now will give the economy a boost, but I must give the economy a boost later when things become more reasonable for me to buy. I can remember when I was in school some of the fortunate kids would show up to school with a pair of $150 shoes on their feet. The killer part of it is that some students would skip school to wait in line to purchase the shoe. Not me because I had patience. I would wait until the sale came and I would buy the shoe and a nice shirt or whole outfit to match. Some people put emphasis on keeping up  with the latest trends so much to the point that it put them in a financial bind. With today's economy being so unstable one must be attentive to his/her spending because being careless can catch up with you and put you in the poor house. Nobody wants to be in the poor house with a $150 pair of shoes on their feet!

  1. The thing I don't get about people buying technology the day it comes out is that there are ALWAYS bugs. Whether it's a new cell phone, game system, or computer, it always has to be returned a week later to be repaired. I would rather wait a few months/years so when I get mine, it won't be broken.

  2. I can understand not buying the new iPhone or a DVD the day it comes out, because these prices do tend to drop-but I have to draw the line at shoes. I cannot wait for a sale on Christian Louboutin red bottom shoes or they will all be gone.
